JOIN US for the 2015 Tree of life to benefit Joey’s Wings Holiday Toy & Book drive for children battling cancer.
If you are interested in participating in the toy & book drive, please send a new unwrapped toy or book to:
4910 NW 71 place, Gainesville, FL, 32653
We are receiving gifts until December 31th. We will send them to Shands Children’s oncology floor, Ronald Mcdonald House and children currently in cancer treatment. We’ll be sure to post pictures and other things at foundation’s Facebook page, so you can see how your love is making a difference.
We want to invite you to decorate the Christmas tree set up in Millhopper Library in honor or memory of your loved one. Buy a handmade origami ornament and let me know who you want to honor, we will attach the person’s name to the ornament and hang the ornament on the tree, the “Tree of Life”. To order ornaments, click Shop. Local buyers can always pick up to avoid the shipping fee. To leave me the name of the person you want to honor, you can checkout by paypal and leave me the note, or send me by email. (email@example.com) I will hang the ornament on the Tree of Life until the event finishes. Then we will return the ornament to you.
Turn the love and memory of your loved one into the sparkles for children battling cancer!
We are again this year doing the toys and books drive for children with cancer at the Shands Children’s Hospital! We will put the toy or book with our cranes into a gift package for them. Because of your generous support, we bought 150 boxes of Lego last year when we sold 150 ornaments. Plus the donated toys and books. The oncology floor at the Shands delivers our donated toys and books throughout the whole year!
If you would like to donate a new toy or book, please drop off at our office with a note of who it’s from. The address is 2178 NW 101 Street, Gainesville, FL, 32606. You can also drop off at the Suburban Animal Hospital at 3831 W Newberry Rd, Gainesville, FL 32607.
A special thank you to Suburban Animal Hospital for doing the toys drive in honor of Joey again this year! Their Santa drive box is very cute!
